Firebird FH924 – compact EDC knife with Wharncliffe blade

The Firebird FH924 folding knife combines simplicity, functionality, and reliability. Thanks to its compact dimensions and well-thought-out design, it is a practical EDC companion for everyday use at home, in the city, and outdoors.

The 65 mm blade features an unconventional Wharncliffe shape with a straight cutting edge and a sharply sloping spine. This design allows efficient use of the entire blade length and ensures precise, clean cuts. The thin tip is ideal for detailed work and scraping tasks.

The blade is made of D2 tool steel, known for its high wear resistance and excellent edge retention. A high carbon and chromium content provides outstanding strength. Hardness of approximately 60 HRC combined with a 3.4 mm spine thickness ensures durability even under heavy use.

Quick and convenient one-handed opening is enabled by the thumb hole in the blade, suitable for both right- and left-handed users. Safety is ensured by the proven Liner Lock, capable of withstanding loads of up to 70 kg.

Despite its compact size, the knife offers a comfortable grip thanks to G10 handle scales. This durable composite material features a textured surface that reduces slipping and provides excellent resistance to impacts, temperature changes, and chemicals.

When folded, the knife measures only 9.5 cm, making it easy to carry in a pocket, backpack, or car compartment. The reversible pocket clip allows convenient belt carry. With a weight of just 84 g, it is ideal for everyday carry.
