The Ganzo G742-1 folding knife is a great knife for any outdoor use. It is suitable for cutting vegetables and sandwiches at a picnic, you can do almost any job on the go with it, it is also suitable for fishing, hiking or hunting.
The safety is built into the blade of the knife - the so-called Frame-Lock, the use is absolutely safe. This knife will not open in your pocket.
The blade is made of 440C steel with a hardness of 58HRC. This type of steel is widely used for the production of knives, because it combines such important properties as corrosion resistance and high hardness of the material. Both qualities are valued for EDC knives that there is no time to worry about.
On one side of the handle of this model, the blades are made of G10 material. It is a high density laminate. It is made of fiberglass dipped in epoxy resin, and has strength comparable to metal. This material is also significantly lighter than steel and is also non-corrosive. The other side of the knife is free of G10.
