Firebird FH21 – compact folding knife for outdoor and everyday use

This knife is an indispensable companion for fishing, outdoor trips, and picnics. An ideal model should be compact, lightweight, and versatile enough to handle a wide range of tasks. That is exactly what the Firebird FH21 offers. Even when opened, it measures only 197 mm, and when closed it easily fits into a smaller pocket. It is suitable for food preparation as well as working with various materials – both outdoors and in urban environments.

The blade is made from the popular D2 knife steel with a high carbon content. Thanks to the addition of chromium and nickel, it is a semi-stainless steel that maintains high hardness (approx. 60 HRC) and excellent edge retention while remaining relatively easy to maintain. For long service life, simply keep the knife clean and dry. The blade length is 86 mm with a thickness of 3.5 mm, making it suitable for both food preparation and more demanding tasks. The Drop-Point blade shape provides balanced characteristics and versatile use. The flat grind (plain) runs along the entire blade, and the surface features a satin finish. A practical Flipper allows quick opening and also protects the fingers when the knife is open.

The handle features a steel frame complemented by durable scales made of G10 composite material. This material is extremely strong, moisture-resistant, and resistant to UV radiation and mechanical stress. The textured surface and longitudinal grooves ensure a secure grip even in challenging conditions. At the end of the handle, there are holes for attaching a lanyard. The knife is available in three handle color options: black, gray, and olive green.

Safe blade locking in the open position is ensured by the proven Liner-lock – a simple, reliable, and low-maintenance locking mechanism with a long service life.
