The Ganzo G627 is a universal knife that can be discreetly carried in a clothing pocket thanks to the clip (right and left sides can be interchanged). The knife can also be used in field conditions: when fishing, picnicking or hiking.
The knife is equipped with a drop point blade, which is characterized by excellent cutting properties. The blade length is 88 mm and the thickness is 3.2 mm - this gives the blade resistance to wear, which is important when cutting particularly rough materials.
The blade is made of 8CR14 steel with black coating. This metal is highly resistant to corrosion, so it does not require special care. The hardness of this grade is ±58 HRC, striking a balance between durability and ease of sharpening, which can be done at home with common sharpening tools.
The Ganzo G627 model is equipped with a Flipper. When the knife is closed, this feature makes it easy to quickly open the blade - to do this, you need to push the Flipper with your index finger. When the knife is open, the Flipper protects your fingers from accidentally slipping on the blade.
Safe operation is ensured by the Liner-lock safety, which is based on a spring-loaded plate. The lock is easy to use and resistant to increased loads, which is why the Ganzo brand uses it extensively in the manufacture of pocket knives.
The handle material is polypropylene (PP), which is not afraid of temperature changes and exposure to various types of chemical compounds and substances, including acids and solvents. The embossed surface of the handle allows a firm grip on the tool during use. This is also aided by the thumb recess.
The length of the folded knife does not exceed 115 mm. Weight including clip is 130 g.
