Ganzo G766 – ultra-light Balisong for everyday carry

Ganzo G766 is a classic balisong that stands out for its combination of high strength and low weight. The knife features the typical butterfly design – a folding blade made of 440C stainless steel and a handle split into two halves. 440C steel is a chromium alloy widely used in premium EDC knives. Thanks to the high chromium and carbon content, it offers a hardness of 56–59 HRC and retains its edge for a long time, even with daily use. The steel is corrosion-resistant and, with proper care, has virtually unlimited service life while keeping its original properties.

The handle is designed to allow one-hand opening. This is facilitated by the well-balanced weight ratio between blade and handle, allowing the knife to be ready in an instant. The handle consists of two G10 panels with a textured surface that reduces slipping in wet hands and ensures a secure grip. In the open position, the handle is narrow, making it comfortable even for users with smaller palms.

The Ganzo G766 stands out not only for its high-quality materials but also for its ultra-light design weighing just 50 g. This allows the knife to be carried conveniently in a bag or clothing and used as needed. Total length when open is 203 mm, blade thickness 3 mm, making it a full-fledged everyday knife. This butterfly knife is not a weapon and is suitable for performing tricks and skill training.
